DanielDhamra: The Adani Foundation’s CSR wing Adani Foundation observed the 59th Teachers Day in Adani Dhamra Port to commemorate the 133rd birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Raghakrinan, former President of Independent India and Academician, Bharat Ratna.
The COVID 19 situation saw 5 retired teachers being honored with the “Guru Samman” award by Adani Foundation. They have all contributed greatly to increasing the performance and growth of rural school education in rural Bhadrak in Oriya, English and Mathematics. Shri Gopal Prasad of Panchutikri GP Shri Purusottam Okha of Bhadrak Shri Hrusikesh Khilar of Balimunda Bhadrak Shri Jagabandhu Barik from Gujidarada Bhadrak and Smt. Shantilata Rout from Chapulia and Bhadrak. CSR Team of Adani Foundation felicitated these teachers in the presence of village opinion makers, educationalists and others on the 5th of September 2021.
Adani Dhamra Port observes the Teachers’ Day every year since 2012. Since then, 46 teachers from its peripheral have been awarded with the “Guru Samman Award” from various faculties.
