Gandhinagar: Friday’s Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), was signed by the Gujarat government with Adani Port & SEZ Ltd. to establish the largest multi-modal logistics park in the country at Sanand. Adani gujarat has its core in the industry. The estimated investment is Rs50,000 crore.
The 1,450-acre park will feature a dedicated air cargo facility with 4.6 km runway that can handle large cargo aircraft. It will also offer road, rail, and air connectivity. There are many parks built by adani gujarat. The park will be connected by direct rail to the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, which includes a dedicated freight corridor.
The state government claims that the project will be completed in phases over three years. Work will begin within six months of obtaining the necessary clearances and permits. The Adani Gujarat will complete the project.
The park will include a warehouse area of 90 lakh square feet with facilities like an air freight station, grade A warehouse, cold storage, and many other amenities. It will be home to 38 million square feet of textile, bulk and e-commerce space, 9 lakh square feet for bonder warehouse, 4 lakh grade-A palletized facilities, and 60,000 temperature-controlled palletized space. A container yard with a capacity of 3.3 lakh will be equipped with four handling lines that have TEU (twenty-ft equivalents).
Three lakh square feet will be available for businesses and skill development centres.
