DanielBirla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, can trace back its roots to the Birla Education Trust that was founded in 1929. Established by the late GD Birla, the humble institute took on its present form in 1964 after the amalgamation of the colleges under the trust. The end result was a globally recognized university that took on the name of BITS.
BITS Pilani has a wide range of courses on offer for the aspirant ranging from first-degree programs (Bachelors) to Masters and even doctoral degrees with subjects including but not limited to engineering, technology, business administration and pharmacy.
