Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration encloses within its cloisters a rich cultural legacy of a century. Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration is a Premiere Commerce College of India which has been ranked as 11th best by India Today 2017 Rankings and the best in Kolkata . It is a Kolkata-based degree-granting college that offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees in Commerce and an MBA degree course. It is affiliated with the University of Calcutta.Earlier it was a part of Presidendy College where it started as a department but later with growing demand it had to be shifted into its new premises as a separte institute under University of Calcutta

Facilities & Services

Library

The College has a rich Library having collections of more than 60,000 books, journals, and magazines and a well furnished Reading Room. The College Library and the Reading Room will remain open from 8 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. on weekdays and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. The timing for issue of books to students of different classes of both Morning and Day Sections will be decided by the Librarians.

Campus Activities

The students and teachers of the institute organize different cultural programmes, such as – College Social, College Foundation day programme etc. The students are specially organizing quiz regularly, which could raise their skill and efficiency in the boarder aspect. Every year annual sports is organized by the College authority, in which both teachers and students participate actively.

Games & Sports

Now a days, students are not so interested in games due to the excessive burden of books. Goenka College allows it students to flourish their abilities in sports and this provided them some sort of mental relief from hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The Career Counselling & Placement Cell provides necessary and suitable grooming sessions for nurturing the young minds for the competitive employment sector. The performance of the students in the recruitment drives has proven its success.
