Vidya College of Engineering is a private engineering college located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. Started in the year 2006 and took up pace and passion to evolve as a engineering platform of Global ambience. The aim of Vidya College of Engineering is to provide its students with all the analytical, design and computing skills that underpin modern engineering practice, while encouraging the creativity and problem-solving skills that are so important to become a good engineer.

The college is located inside the 75-acre (300,000 m²) campus of Vidya Knowledge Park at Baghpat Road in Meerut. It comes under Panchli Khurd Village.Meerut is linked to the rest of the country by air (via Delhi), road and rail networks.

Facilities and Services

Library

The VCE’s central library has an area of 468 square meters, with 17000 books. It subscribes to 50 national journals and 35 international journals. The library has a large collection of books, scientific journals, monthly periodicals, institute memberships and other related materials in the field of Engineering.

Hostel

Girls Hostel

Suvarna Girls Hostel with 150 rooms has the capacity to accommodate 300 female students, with their own dining hall facility.

Boys Hostel

Ananda boys hostel has 250 rooms with the capacity to accommodate 500 students on a twin sharing mode. The hostel has their own dining hall facility with an impeccable security system.

Canteen and Cafe

There are 3 canteens in different blocks which offer healthy and hygienic food.

Training and Placement Cell

The department focuses on the communication strategies that are essential for success in any business environment, while providing a small-class structure for exchanging ideas and building skills. Students work in teams to solve a number of communications-based tasks as they enhance their oral and written business skills.The department also periodically conducts Aptitude test, Group discussions, Mock interviews and technical tests. Guidance is also offered for pursuing higher studies and research both in India and abroad.
