DU PG Admission 2018 Summary

DU M.Phil and Ph.D registration will begin on 22nd May 2018. he DU PG 2018 admission Portal will accept the application forms until 7 June. The admissions for DU M.Phil and Ph.D courses will be through entrance exam. Students should take in account that no refund of fees will be allowed in case there is a clash of dates between two entrance tests you’ve applied for.

Registration Fee

For SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) – Rs.250/-
For all other categories (Unreserved, OBC etc) – Rs.500/-

Registration fee has to be paid during online registration process through one of the available online payment options.

Age Limit

There is no minimum age bar to take admission in Delhi University for PG as well as in UG programmes. Although candidates need to fulfill certain educational qualification in the specified branches.

Eligibility Criteria

For admission to the M.Phil

The minimum qualifications for admission to the M.Phil (Full-time) Program shall be a Master’s Degree of an Indian University or an equivalent degree of a foreign University, in Education, or an allied subject (related to Education) with a Second Class i.e., minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent grade.

For admission to the Ph.D

A candidate must have obtained a Masters or an M.Phil. degree in Education of the University of Delhi, or any other recognized University to be eligible for admission to the PhD Program.

She/he must have obtained either a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the M.Phil. Degree or a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the Master degree

DU PG Admission 2018 Interview Process

The admission to Ph.D and M.Phil course is through entrance test which is followed by interview process.

It has been noticed that after written test, certain departments go through another test prior to the interview.

Also, after the application process is over, candidates who are eligible for the DU PG 2018 Entrance Test will be issued admit card. This again will be uploaded online.
