JEE Main 2018 Exam Notification.

JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination) is a top-Level Engineering Entrance Exam of India conducted by CBSE Board. The candidates can get admissions in B.Tech/B.E/B.Arch Courses in NITs, IIITs and other Engineering institutions through JEE Mains, though IITs offer admission to these courses through JEE Advanced Examination. Candidates who qualify JEE Main Exam will be considered eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has notified following two changes in the JEE pattern from 2017. The States of Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttrakhand, Nagaland, Odisha & some other institutions have joined JEE (Main) system, however, their admission criteria will be notified by the concerned authorities. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State level examination, are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main)–2018 application form online

The Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programs offered by the IITs.

Exam notification: November 22, 2017

Registration Of Application form begins: December 1, 2017

Date of Online Submission of Application Form: January 1, 2018

Online Computer Based JEE Main 2018 Exam Date: 15th & 16th April 2018 (expected)

Answer Key and Scanned OMR will be displayed from 24th to 27th April 2018

JEE Main Paper-I Result will be announced on: 30th April 2018

Declaration of Result of JEE Main Paper-II: 31st May 2018

Issue of admit card: 2nd week March 2018 onwards.

Counselling and seat allotment: 1st week of July 2018

Eligibility Criteria:

Admission to NITs, IIITs & CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board will be based on All India Rank as explained above in section 2.10 subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class exam or be in the top 20% in the 12th class exam conducted by the respective Boards.

For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class exam

For B.E. /B Tech – Required Criteria based on Class 12th/Equivalent qualifying Exam; passed 10+2 Exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.

B.Arch./B.Planning- Passed 10+2 Examination with Mathematics.

No. of Attempts: The number of attempts, which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) shall be limited to 03 (three).
