Northern India Engineering College (NIEC), New Delhi was established by BBDES, LUCKNOW in the year 2003. NIEC has an aesthetically designed campus spread over approximately 9 acres of lush green environment at Shastri Park. The Campus comprises of five interconnected blocks covering a built up area of approx. 3.0 Lac sq, ft. NIEC offers following Under Graduate and Post Graduate level full time Professional programs approved by AICTE in affiliation with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi. Northern India Engineering College vision as a technical Institution is to provide an open opportunity to the young generation, irrespective of their caste, creed & sex to imbibe knowledge and wisdom in various technical disciplines including engineering, management & Computer Science and Development of holistic personality & entrepreneurship enabling them to carve a niche in the Society for themselves.

The Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) at NIEC has been established to prepare its students for the large competitive world. The CRC consists of a team that combines the academic power of NIEC with the vitality and ambition of the students. It helps them to develop and shape their vision through a whole series of Training and Placements. The CRC networks with the best companies in IT, Telecommunications, Mechanical, Electrical, retailing, manufacturing, FMCG, and many other industry sectors on a day to day basis. This has resulted in a strong and beneficial relationship for the students, the Institute and the business community. Industry and Corporate Personnel are regularly invited to interact with students and give them the feel of real life industry/business scenario. Every student is provided with ample opportunities for employment through campus interviews and placement processes which are conducted regularly for the entire year.

The college has all the required facilities for conducting recruitment processes for company presentations, group discussion rooms and conferencing facilities. The NIEC Library System initially setup in 2003 consists of a Central Library and departmental libraries .All students, faculty members and employees of the Institute are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking library membership.The Library has a well-stocked digital library with latest editions of books by eminent authors & is having a huge collection of books on education, management, computer science, engineering, humanities to cater to the needs and requirements of the faculty as well as students.
