P.B Siddhartha College prepares itself for the AI industry

In the past few years, it has become more critical to study subjects like artificial intelligence and data science.
According to online learning platforms, many companies even outside the IT sector prefer to hire candidates with a deep understanding of artificial intelligence.

Tech courses are becoming increasingly popular among students of all backgrounds.

As a result of the recent increase in demand, many universities have created courses related to AI and Data sciences for their academic curriculums. A variety of tech companies are collaborating with universities to raise funds and develop projects. P.B Sidhartha College of Arts and Sciences is the most recent addition to this list.

Blackbuck Engineers Private Limited, an IT consultancy firm based in Hyderabad, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the college on Wednesday, to launch the Alan Turing Center of Excellence (CoE) in Artificial Intelligence.

Ramesh, the principal of the autonomous college, stated that this is the first non-engineering institute to launch the initiative. Established in 1975, the college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in 15 departments.

Blackbuck, which was founded in 2013, provides a platform that tracks and guides learning, provide fundamental technology infrastructure that provides virtual labs in emerging technologies, learning, assessments, job portal, structured courses, etc.

The firm runs initiatives such as “Blackbucks. me” which  is a social network platform for engineering students that helps them to connect with companies and get jobs

It coordinates with students, faculty, colleges, universities, government, industry, and research associates that provide products and services that can enhance the process of learning.

In this unique initiative, experts from the firm will train students in emerging technologies like AI/ML, Data Science Blockchain Technology, etc. According to the CEO of Blackbuck Engineers Anuradha Thota, the initiative will hugely benefit the institute.
