DanielAn IIT Delhi alumni and IIM Bangalore gold medalist, Puneet Dalmia is the Managing Director of Dalmia Bharat Group. Being the mastermind behind the exponential rise of the Indian cement company, he took over the operations in 2007 and registered a sales revenue growth of more than Rs 10,000 crore at 22 per cent Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) increase. In addition, his previous venture — JobsAhead.com, was a massive success and later, sold to Monster.com.
Apart from Dalmia Bharat Group, Puneet Dalmia holds prominent positions in other organizations including the Founder and Trustee of Ashoka University, board member of Central Square Foundation (CSF), and Advisory Board Member of NSRCEL (NS Raghavan Center for Entrepreneurship), IIM-B. In 2017, Puneet was awarded the ‘EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017’ in the manufacturing category.
