SN Medical College, Agra, named after the first lady Governess of Uttar Pradesh, poetess and freedom fighter, Bharat Kokila Smt. Sarojini Naidu, is situated in the heart of Agra, the famous old city of the Taj Mahal. With a view to meet the growing demand for qualified doctors in the then United Provinces, the status of Agra Medical School was upgraded to that of a full fledged Medical College affiliated to the Agra University for the award of M.B.B.S. degree.

Facilities and Services

Campus

S.N. Medical College & Hospital, Agra is situated in the center of city, in a well outlined campus, adjacent to main Mahatma Gandhi Road. From three sides, campus is surrounded by residential and market areas. College and Hospital have separate blocks and buildings for different departments. Schematic map of the college campus is given on the next page.

Library

The Central Library is situate in front of Principal’s office.  There are 16304 books available in the stock out of which around one thousand books are from various disciplines there include Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Pure Science, Social Sciences & Humanities also.

Hostels

There are three hostels for undergraduate students And two hostels for post graduates. There are a total of 150 Rooms for 300 Students.

Cyber Cafe

The college is having internet services with broad band facility in central library building. Each student to require to become member of cyber cafe by paying a nominal fee.

Canteen

College campus is having college canteen and Nescafe stall for staff and students.

Admissions

Entry to this institute is highly competitive, with admission offered to less than the top 1% of applicants. The medical college entrance examination for SNMC is through NEET exam in India.
