UGC NET 2018 Summary

 
 UGC NET 2018 Notification has been released now. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) holds the National Eligibility Test (NET) on behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC). On behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET). UGC NET is conducted twice a year in order to select candidates for only Assistant Professor or both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges. As per media reports, from 2018 onwards UGC NET will be conducted once a year. Aadhaar Card is mandatory to apply for UGC NET.

UGC NET 2018 Exam Pattern

 
As per an official notification released by CBSE, UGC NET exam pattern is changed. Check UGC NET 2018 exam pattern below:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualifying Examination: Master’s or equivalent degree from Universities/Institutions recognized by UGC.
  • Subjects: The qualifying examination must be passed in subjects like Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science &Applications, Electronic Science etc.
  • Minimum Marks: The percentage of marks required in qualifying examination is 55% (50% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD categories).

 

UGC NET 2018 Result

 
UGC NET 2018 result is not out yet. However, all candidates can check UGC NET result on the official website of CBSE by following the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE NET.

Step 2: Click the Result link available on the Home page of the website.

Step 3: Enter application number, roll number and date of birth as mentioned in the admit card.

Step 4: Click on the Submit button.

CBSE UGC NET 2018 result will appear on the screen.

The National Eligibility Test (NET), conducted by CBSE on behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC) is held in order to select candidates for the role of Assistant Professor and/ or Junior Research Fellowships (JRF).
